The Prayer Room (War Room)
A church is only as strong as the prayer life and discipleship life of its members. To encourage all of our members to pray individually and corporately, we have designated and reserved a room in our church for prayer. Based on the movie of the same name, we meet for prayer in “The War Room.” This room will accommodate individuals and small groups. A copy of God’s Word is kept in the room as well as devotional materials. The current Wednesday Night Prayer List is provided. Prayer Blocks are available for each of the ministries of our church. One wall inside The War Room is a chalkboard for any specific prayer needs you might share.
Just outside the door of The War Room you will find our prayer wall which we have named, “Leave a Prayer, Take a Prayer.” Paper and pens are provided for those who would like to leave their personal request for prayer. We ask that when you LEAVE your prayer request that you would also be willing to TAKE a prayer request that has been placed there by someone else. This allows us to pray for each other and be prayed for as well. Your prayer request can be signed or left unsigned as you choose. If you have a prayer request to share with the entire church family, please submit that to the church office.
The War Room is located in Room 208 which is upstairs in the Education Building. Take the elevator to the second floor. When you step out of the elevator, turn right and continue walking through the double doors. Turn left at the first hallway. Room 208 will be the first door on your right. The War Room is open during regularly scheduled office hours Monday through Friday and also during regularly scheduled worship times on Wednesdays and Sundays.
